Orbit network permits the connection of diffrent kind of probes (incremental and digital) with a pc, in order to make the measurement acquisition in real time
The orbit network is composed of one or several orbit card (ISA or PCI) in the pc.
Each card comprises 2 RS485 inputs allowing you to connect 31 probes to each input using a “T” connector. (62 probes by card)
You can use up to 6 orbit cards by pc wich means a maximum of 372 probes.
You can also link 31 probes to one pc serial port by using a rs232 module and a power supply module.

A pc can do the acquisition of the digital outputs of the probes using an orbit card. 62 digital or incremental probes can be connected to this card.(as input and output modules)
